When I first heard about the New Beginnings Group, little did I know it would have a profound effect on me for the rest of my life.

It showed me that I wasn't all alone in my bewildered thoughts of fear and despair. It gave me an opportunity to express myself in a comfortable group setting without the fear of rejection and ridicule. It hastened my belief that the only thing that truely matters in this world is love and compassion for each other. It engaged my faith in God, spirit in inside us all, to do the right thing in those dark periods of one's life. Yes, you and this group have helped me to regain the love, faith and spirit of my true self.

I am so glad I had the courage to call you that first time, my apprehension was put at ease by your calming manner and quiet energy. I recognized that I was talking to a man that had been where I was now and he cared.

I will forever be grateful to you and wish you good luck in your future endeavors.
